Meredith Anne Patterson was lovingly welcomed into the world by her parents, Michael and Deanna on October 10th, 2002 at 5:15 a.m. Born at Fairview General Hospital, she weighed 7lbs 4oz. Although they were hesitant about becoming new parents, Mike and Deanna were ecstatic when the doctor announced they had a beautiful and healthy baby girl. Overjoyed grandparents John and Elly Patterson of Milborough, and Wilf and Mira Sobinski of Burlington were thrilled with Meredith's entrance into their lives.

Growing like a weed, Meredith is a busy little thing now and entertaining her has become a full time job. Fortunately, she is happy and full of curiosity. She marvels at the world around her. Gone are the days when you could put her in her baby seat and she'd still be there when you looked back. Now if you blink, she's gone! She has become an independent little girl who loves having her picture taken and who likes playing dress-up with Mom's clothes. She loves being a big sister and Deanna has lots of photos of Merrie together with Robin.
