Hobbies: Cooking (she's a great believer in experimentation and new recipes), scrap booking (when she has time), photography - she takes photos of everything, but mostly Meredith and Robin, crossword puzzles (Deanna loves board games - cards, chess, scrabble - you name it!)
Aspirations: To successfully juggle motherhood, her marriage, a household and a career, to be "organized", to be able to hire a housekeeper someday and to stand up to her mom.

Deanna Sobinski was the young girl who stole Michael's heart - before he even knew what was happening. That was back in the day when, according to Michael, girls had "cooties".

Years later she came back into his life and his heart. They haven't looked back. Their second wedding was the event of the decade for both families. Putting stress aside (even though that's hard to do with Deanna's mother around), the wedding day came off without a hitch - well, they were hitched, but the day, to their surprise, was wonderful!

Deanna and her mother in-law, Elly have a wonderful relationship. Since her own mother prefers to judge and criticize instead of discuss and support; Deanna turns to Elly even more, now that she too is a working mom!

Although Deanna enjoys her career as a Pharmacist and likes living in the land of adults, Deanna loves being a wife and mother. When she and Michael had their second child (a boy), she left her job a second time to return to diapers, bottles, and all things baby but eventually returned to the workforce.

She works hard to find a perfect balance in her life. She admires her husband's talent and fully supports Michael's career choices, as he does hers. Often intense, insecure, and constantly fighting the "Princess" she became as the favoured younger daughter, Deanna has found someone who understands her. Mike and Deanna are a good match.
