Dislikes: Bullies, being considered "too young" for family discussions, certain people at school, people who say they're going to do stuff, but don't do it. Also, being seen with her parents.
Hobbies: Music, snowboarding, playing guitar, writing, in-line skating, hanging out!
Aspirations: To be in a successful band someday; wants to go to university but not sure what to study yet - maybe something like veterinary medicine!

April's entry into the world of For Better or For Worse came in dramatic fashion when she was born at home during an ice storm on April 1, 1991.

Since then she has continued to add sparks and sparkle to the Patterson family. Through her exploits as a toddler to life as a teen, April knows all the buttons to push. Her much older siblings and much wiser parents have all they can handle in this kid.

A natural leader, April holds her own ground and is not afraid to protect "her turf" when challenged. She has an immense affinity for Grandpa Jim. Along with his wisdom, Grandpa has given her the gift of music. Her band, 4 Evah and Eva, practices regularly, plays the occasional show (at school) and participates in competitions. She's considerate of others, works hard in school - more because of her competitiveness than a desire to learn! She likes to volunteer and has recently started to enjoy earning her own money through babysitting for Gord and Tracey and working at Lilliput's bookstore.

April Patterson and Eva Abuya teamed up to sing at the Hearts Together Telethon on July 26th and 27th, 2007.
